Starting the Journey

Hello fifth graders!  I am super excited about our new book blog!  It will be so much fun to add our comments about our books here on our blog, instead of on paper!  I gave you the directions last week for our book journals and you will just need to apply those directions to your blog entries here.  You may post about yourself as a reader while reading your book, discuss the story elements of your book, or talk about the author of your book.  You will need a minimum of 25 entries (comments) by the end of the quarter and they will be graded according to the rubric I gave you.  Always keep your entries mannerly and appropriate or you will be left to do your entries on paper.  Remember, I am taking this journey with you as I read the book Horns and Wrinkles by Joseph Helgerson.  You know I am always open for an excuse to read a good book.  So open the cover of your book and jump right in for a wonderful voyage!  See you on the comment page!
