Rontu's Legacy

I really imagined that Island of the Blue Dolphins could not get any more adventurous or exciting!  Just when the last few chapters took Rontu away from us and we didn't want to read any more the author gives us Rontu-Aru!  And what a cool meaning..."son of Rontu"...it couldn't have been any more fitting.

What was the most exciting or most surprising thing that happened in chapters 26-27 for you??  I will certainly have many different opinions on this topic, as there were a lot of things that happened in these two small chapters.

You know the author is a really good writing when they can make that much happen in a few short paragraphs!

We have very nearly ended the book...:(  bbbbuuuuutttt if you could write the ending to our story...how would you end it??  Or what do you think is going to happen?  Be very descriptive when describing it.

    the most excited thing in chapter 26 or 27 is when she gets rontu aru...is he actaully the son of rontu??? ~emily:)~

    I hope the ending of the story turns out Good maybe something like this would happen..... karana stays on the beach all day and she see's a ship she does not know which one it is but it is her family she gets reunited ang keeps the dog safe with her -MaKayla Chapman

    The most exiting part of Chapter 26-27 is when she finds Rontu's son and got to keep him I am happy for Karana!!

    the most exited thing in chapter 26 and 27 for me is when she is trying all these different thing to catch rontu-aru and i did not no intill I read these chapters that he was rontu son so exiting so exiting - braiden baptiste

    i hope the ending turns out good and I think it will go like something like this she gets rescued her and her dog and they are safe.-braiden baptiste :)

    my 2 faverite parts in chapter 26 and 27 was when karana seen rontu-Are was running faster than any other dog and when karana had took Rontu-Are back to her house -Kela-

    I hope that she will stay on the island forever, then when you least expect it she will find another tribe on the other side of the island. Then, she will live with the tribe and find her true love because she made the marking on her face to signify that she is single.
